We also go over the price and deposit, how long the install will take, how to care for your locs in the early stages, and pick your install date. This consultation is $30, paid when you book.

Prices are starting prices. A $50 non-refundable deposit holds your spot and does not go toward the cost of your service. It is only refunded if the salon has to cancel your appointment.
What are microlocs?
Microlocs are small locs, usually smaller than traditional locs, that can be started and maintained by interlocking, twisting or braiding. They give you lots of styling options while being less bulky than traditional locs. Unlike Sisterlocks, microlocs are not tied to one trademarked method, so size, parting and technique can be matched to your hair and budget.

Microloc retie at My Natural Hair Spa
Our MicroLoc Retie starts at $200 and takes about 4 hours, with shampoo included. We retighten new growth at the root so your locs stay neat, separated and strong.
- Both of our stylists, Cece and Maya, do microlocs. You can choose your stylist when you book online.
- Most clients come every 4–6 weeks.
- Add an organic A.C.V. rinse to deep-clean buildup from your locs.

Every new microloc install starts with a $30 consultation. We check your hair and scalp, recommend a size and technique, and go over price, timing and early care before you commit. Caring for microlocs between visits
- Wash regularly with a residue-free shampoo and dry your locs completely.
- Sleep with a satin scarf, bonnet or pillowcase.
- Avoid heavy butters and waxes that build up inside small locs.
- Keep tension low. Very tight updos can thin your edges.
